A real-time measurement system for time dependent twist angles is developed. This system utilizes two circularly-homogeneously aligned LC cells which work as peculiar polarizes. Since its measurement procedure does not include any mechanical movements or rotations of optical components, this method is useful for the real-time measurement. A twist angle of a TN LC cell with PMMA films is measured by the proposed method. The time dependence of the twist angle is successfully estimated with the high time resolution.
