Polarization reversal process in thick cell of ferroelectric liquid crystal has been studied. The transmitted light through the cell at the instant of polarity reversal of applied voltage has been diffracted by the formation of periodical stripe texture. This stripe texture is tilted to the smectic layer and the tilt direction depends on polarity of applied voltage. The oblique angle from smectic layer of stripe texture increases with applied voltage and the length of the stripe decreases with applied voltage. The peak of the polarity reversal current with the polarity reversal of applied voltage coincides with the dip of the transmitted light intensity, while the current returns quickly to the original level as compared with the transmitted light intensity.
