The structure in the opticaly isotropic (IsoX) phase which appears in the dichiral liquid crystal compond containing fluorines was investigated in the X-ray diffraction measurements. Diffraction pattern depends on the sample and irradiated conditions, and using x-ray microbeam, in a lmmφ capillary glass tube cell, it was found that the IsoX phase is a cubic phase whose symmetry is Im3m. Moreover, an novel optically anisotropic phase in other homologues and the blue-colored texture will be also discussed.
