1PD01 アゾ系高分子膜の光誘起表面グレーティングを用いた液晶の配向制御

抄録

Alignment characteristics of liquid crystal on the surface relief grating of azo polymer film has been studied. Surface relief grating is fabricated by the irradiation of two interfering laser beam on azo polymer film. The structure of surface relief grating depends on the angle of incidence θ, the irradiation time and film thickness. Alignment of liquid crystal on surface relief grating is observed, and is strongly affected by the structure of grating.
