Normally black (reverse mode) Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystals (HPDLC) was prepared using a liquid crystalline diacrylate and high Δn liquid crystal with aligned technic. Hologram reflection had polarization selectivity and the reflectance which measured using dichroic mirror as a reference showed 85% (max.) in one polarization, parallel to the rubbing direction. We investigate the morphology of aligned polymer network in the normally black HPDLC by FE-SEM observation for several densities of monomer in the prepolymer syrup. Although clear phase separation structure was not observed, polymer network was condensed with fiber structure, which oriented parallel to the rubbing direction. The network structure of the polymer becomes high-density as the monomer concentration becomes high.
