1B18 ストークスパラメータ法を用いた方位角アンカリング強度に関する精密測定(化学・材料)

抄録

We develop an accurate measurement system for determining azimuthal anchoring strengths with continuously adjusting and controlling the combination angles between two directions of easy axis on strong alignment films. An actual cell thickness and twist angle of a twisted nematic liquid crystal (TNLC) cell can be determined by Stokes Parameter Method (SPM) and then the anchoring strength can be precisely obtained by using torque balance method.
