PC10 Fast optical response of twist nematic devices with capative-couplins method

Abstract

Taking advantage of charge-coupling with a previous gate-line through storage capacitor, an overdrive voltage is created at a pixel electrode, which leads to fast optical response of twist nematic devices with Cs-on-gate design scheme. Experimental procedures including pixel's voltage-capacitance measurement and pixel drive simulation are described.
