Abstract
The molecular alignment characteristics have been investigated in 1,4,8,11,15,18,22,25- octaalkylphthalocyanine mesogen exhibiting a high carrier drift mobility in excess of 1 cm2/Vs. The coexistence of different molecular packing of C6PcH2 with different electronic states has been observed in a planarly aligned sandwich cell. The high-efficient photovoltaic cell based on the C6PcH2/PCBM bulk hetero-junction (BHJ) has been demonstrated. The sensitization of the EQE spectrum has been successfully realized upon doping C6PcH2 into polymer-based BHJ solar cell.
