Abstract
Nano particle doped fluorinated nematic liquid crystals were fabricated by sputtering, and their electrooptic response were investigated. The threshold voltage of the nano particle doped nematic liquid crystals was smaller than that of pure nematic liquid crystals for all measured frequencies and showed a frequency dependence. We also observed the effect of doping nano particle depended on the concentration of nano particle.
