Abstract
Types of oligo-thiophene photoconductive chiral dopants for photorefractive ferroelectric liquid crystals were synthesized. The photorefractive effect of FLCs containing photoconductive chiral dopants was investigated. In order to add the photoconductivity to the FLC, photoconduvtive moiety was introduced to the chiral dopants. The effect of the structure of the chiral dopants on the photorefractive effect was inrestigated.
