PA31 Orientation of Nematic LC on the PVCi Film Formed by ESD Method

Abstract

ESD method is known as one of forming film methods. The tiny size of materials can be deposited on the substrate when a high voltage is applied between the capillary and the substrate. PVCi was deposited and the relief structure was formed on the substrate surface by ESD method, and the alignment condition of the nematic LC on this film and the electro-optical characteristics were investigated.
