We investigate the effects of frequency and crosslink density on electric field response of liquid crystal gels. Electric field intensity required for reorientation of liquid crystal increases and the resultant strain decreases when crosslink density increases. In addition, the threshold frequency of the electric field required for reorientation of liquid crystal and deformation increases when crosslink density increases.
