In the present study, we performed Monte Carlo simulation of the mixture of liquid Crystal and dendrimers by using hard repulsive molecular models. We used hard spherocylinders as model liquid crystal molecules and hard spheres as dendrimer molecules. We also used a square platelet which was sufficiently larger than the size of the periodic boundary of the system as a substrate surface. Results show that in pure system of spherocylinders, the director takes parallel alignment on the substrate. However, in system of mixture of hard spherocylinders and hard spheres, the director indicates the homeotropic alignment near the substrate.
