PB17 強誘電性柱状液晶相における分極の制御と安定化(化学・材料,ポスター発表,2012年日本液晶学会討論会)

抄録

In order to realize ferroelectric columnar mesophases, we synthesized LC urea-derivatives. The compounds exhibited hexagonal columnar and rectangular columnar LC phases. We investigated their phase transitions and superstructures by polarized optical microscopy (POM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and one- and two-dimentional X-ray diffractions (XRD). In addition, we investigated their ferroelectric switching behaviors by applying a triangular wave voltage. As a result, some compounds indicated high-speed ferroelectric switching and stability of the polarization.
