Water solution of C12E5 forms the lamellar lyotropic liquid crystal phase and causes phase separation into dilute micelle phase and dense sponge phase dependent on the concentration or the temperature. By introducing colloid particles whose diameter is comparable to the intermembrane distance, we investigated the dynamic coupling of the motions directly by observing the dispersion relations both for the concentration fluctuation of colloids and the undulation fluctuation of the lamellar using the dynamic light scattering method.
