抄録

Phased array antenna is a well-known system that has the unique ability to change its radiation patterns such as direction and shape, without physically moving. In this study, by utilizing microfiber/liquid crystal composite, we succeeded in realizing two terahertz wave phased array antennas for 100 GHz band frequency: one with a high gain of about 15.8 dBi and continuous steering angles up to ±28°, and the other with a smaller gain of about 14.3 dBi but larger steering angles up to ±42°.
