Abstract
We have proposed a new reflective LCD (R-OCB cell) composed of a hybrid-aligned nematic LC-layer, a biaxial-retardation film, a mirror electrode and the light scattering film. This LCD has many features , while it had a problem of light leakage at dark state. In this paper we describe optimum design condition to get an achromatic color by designing of dispersion of LC and retardation film.
