Abstract

The CdO modified with Y and La ions were prepared and characterized by ESR, XPS and XRD. The oxidation number of modified Y and La ions is found to be divalent state. Y²⁺ ions are substituted in CdO lattice, and LaO as La²⁺ ions deposit at the interface of CdO and La₂O₃.
