Abstract

The electrode reaction of violurate was studied using optically transparent thin-layer spectroelectrochemical voltammetry. With the application of positive potential, the two strong absorption bands of violurate in the UV region decreased, and an absorption band indicating the formation of violurate neutral radicals arose between them at pH 7.
