Abstract

Dual Trapped Ion Mobility Spectrometry-QTOF (timsTOF) enables detection of low abundant ions and separation of isobaric ion species by Parallel Accumulation Serial Fragmentation (PASEF®). PASEF® realizes rapid and deeper proteomics analysis, and development of cutting-edge timsTOF system with ultra-sensitivity has opened the way to new proteomics fields. In this technical note, the mechanism of PASEF® is explained, and results of single-cell proteomics and immunopeptidomics analysis using ultra-sensitive timsTOF mass spectrometer are presented.
