Proposal of a Method to Improve the Marine Environment of Ariake Bay by Decreasing Its Water Depth

Abstract

We propose a method to improve the marine environment of Ariake Bay, where people suffer from the frequent occurrence of red tide and hypoxia, by opening the gate of sea dike in Isahaya Bay and decreasing the water depth of Ariake Bay.
