Purified cotton wool, cotton cellulose tissue paper prepared from white rags, and wood cellulose tissue paper prepared from Japanese spruce sulphite pulp by purifying with alkaline boiling and bleaching were nitrated under the same condition. and the properties of the nitrated products were examined. The properties of the materials and nitrated products were as follows;
