抄録
The present paper deals with the proximate chemical compositions of two new woods which are tried to use for paper pulp.
Two kinds of wood, “Doronoki” (Populus Maximowiczii) and “Ezoyanagi” (Salix rorido) are subjected to the analysis by the same methods as reported in this journal.
The contents of cellulose and lignin in two woods are similar to those of other pulp woods used in industry
The lack of mannans in both the two woods may be pointed out to be noticeable as compared with the components of the other pulp woods.
