The author has already reported, in this journal, on the relation between the terminal voltage and the intensity of ultraviolet leght from a quartz mercury lamp. In the present papir an investigation into the actual fluctuation of A. C. voltage in the laboratory is reported. The author made use of a diode vacuum valve and a recording milli-ammeter with a pretty good result.
