Abstract
Although the building materials with antimicrobial or stain-proof performance have been in use recently, the evaluation method of those has not been established yet. Therefore, the authors have been trying to evaluate them by use of electrical surface resistance. This paper describes the results of the outdoor test of about one year and the accelerated weathering test of 3000 hours aiming to examine the performance of exterior tile with optical catalyst stain-proof. As the results of those, it was clarified that the surface resistance of tiles corresponded to stain. Consequently, the degree of stain attached to tiles can be evaluated by use of surface resistance.
