Development of low TVOC adhesive for floor

Abstract

We developed a floor urethane adhesive that decrease generation of TVOC. For decrease of TVOC, we focused on research & development of huge quantities of raw materials. Measuring method of TVOC is compliant with “Small Chamber System(ADPAC)”. In the test result, the new adhesive was almost not detectable about 13 organic compounds that designated by Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry. The measurement value of TVOC was 305μg/m³, which is lower than interim guideline value(400μg/m³). The marketing plan of the new adhesive is the expansion of indoor versatile application.
