Part 2 Performance against chemicals and hot water

Abstract

This paper describes the results of performance tests against chemicals and against hot water, which are required for floor materials with antimicrobial and fungi–proof. As the results of performance test against chemicals, the new material that was developed at this time showed excellent performance against chemicals except acetic acid and toluene. Furthermore, as the results of performance test of 1000 cycles against hot water, the new material showed superior performance to the products with polyurethane system. Consequently, it was clarified that the new materials developed had sufficient performance with regard to the requirements of floor materials with antimicrobial and fungi–proof.
