History and an Analysis on Building–material Developments after the World War(1945-2000)

Abstract

History of developments on building material and building technology after the world war was deeply influenced and changed by the era’s demands. In this study we make divide these 55 years (1945–2000) to 4 eras, 1st. era 1945–1959, 2nd. 1960–1972, 3rd. 1973&ndash1985, 4th. 1986&ndash2000, and make analysis in each era on the people’s demand and socio&ndasheconomic conditions, to find out main tendency of building material developments, and to get a certain suggestion of future wave of developments.
