Abstract
New residents of recently constructed building have lately encountered the problems of pain in the eyes and throat, as well as coughing. This phenomenon is called “sick building syndrome”, and is caused of volatile organic compounds from new building materials. In this study, we investigated indoor pollution caused by waste materials, primarily of volatile organic compounds in constructing new building. We tested methods to decrease existing amount of this compound by “absorbent seat” of the volatile organic compound in its early stages at placed volatile organic compounds in the room. We proved that absorbent seat effect to decrease the amount of volatile organic compounds existing in case of low density indoor air.
