Abstract
In ISO 16204-2012, it was regulated the probabilistic method based on the critical saturation degree for service life design on freeze and thaw damage in concrete. The authors proposed the probability that freeze and thaw damage occurs in the method as an indicator of limit state obtained from results of JIS A 1148 procedure A for concrete with no finishing materials. In this paper, it was investigated the probability that freeze and thaw damage occurs in concrete with coating materials. The results showed that the coting materials decreased the probability that freeze and thaw damage occurs.
