Abstract
In late years, a fiber reinforced cement siding board used for a house has been painted by the high durable paints such as inorganic system paints, fluoro resin paints or the acrylic silicone resin paints. Also, the boards which added hydrophilic for the purpose of low pollution is increasing now, and the case that it does not have enough adhesion to the repairing paints when it repaired is increasing. It is said that especially fiber reinforced cement sidings treated with photocatalyst has difficulty in repairing process since it acts of decomposition to the repairing paint. The demand of the repairing under coat or top clear coat which has good adhesion to these boards is increasing recently, and paint manufacturers have released such product to the market. This report is a researching the performance of repairing coatings and specifications for fiber reinforced cement sidings treated with photocatalyst.
