Abstract

The number of pets(dogs and cats) keeping indoor at residences is increasing in Japan recently.

As a problem of the living environment, We focused on the point that pet scratches the wall by scratching with nail. For pet health, it is necessary to use finishing materials such as mud walls and natural materials. But the walls of natural materials are restricted to places, such as above the waist height, in a room with pets. Because it is easy to be hurt by pet's nails. This study aims to find a texture that meets the needs of those who do not want to feel the damage due to nail scratches, and to expand the possibility of increasing the use area of moisture conditioning building materials.
