Evaluation of Permeability of Water Repellent Materials into Concrete and Water Permeability into Concrete Treated with Water Repellent Materials.

Abstract

4 types of commercial water repellent materials for concrete were evaluated. Pemeability of the water repellernt materials into concrete shows rather good values which were beyond criteria. As to resistance performance against water penetration of treated concrete, there is no difference between water based materials and solvent type materials.
