After nuclear accident in 2011, a large volume of the concrete waste contaminated by low-level radioactive cesium had been produced. As recycled aggregate class L etc. to recycle the concrete waste effectively and safely, it is required to understand the leaching characteristics and control method of cesium from the concrete waste. In this study, control of cesium leaching from concrete waste was investigated by conducting long term water immersion test and pore size distribution examination. As a result, drastic decrease of cesium leaching was identified under using general admixtures such as fly ash and ground granulated blast-furnace slag.
