Part1. Evaluation of Tensile, Tensile Strength and Shear Strength Tests

Abstract

In recent years, it has been increasing to finish large tiles on the exterior walls with adhesives and metal fixtures for prevention of falling. However, the methods of finishing large tiles, and tests and standards of adhesives are not unified and are not standardized at present. In this research, we tried to clarify the evaluation methods and properties required for adhesives of large tiles. In this report, we report the results comparing the physical and adhesive properties of various available organic adhesives for large-size ceramic wall tile.
