In order to examine the volume change of Rammed earth brock, the linear expansion coefficient measurement test and the drying shrinkage test were performed on Rammed earth specimen, and a drying shrinkage test was performed on the magnesium type curing agent used. As a result, within the range of this experiment, the linear expansion coefficient of the plate specimen was smaller than the linear expansion coefficient of concrete. Also, from the results of the drying shrinkage test, it was found that the drying shrinkage strain of Rammed earth specimen is larger than that of the magnesium type curing material paste. And when the water-binder ratio was unified, it was found that the drying shrinkage of Rammed earth specimen was reduced by about 60% by using the magnesium type curing material as compared with the specimen using cement as the binder.
