Research of removal techniques of asbestos coataig materrials for construction

Abstract

Ｔhere is an increasing number of renovation and demolition workｓ on buildings withaasbesutos coating materials by aging degradation．Therefore for implementaion of these construction works, we analysed removal performance of paint strippers on ”pre-coating surface preparation with hand tools using paint strippers” which seems to be highly-convenient in techniqes to prevent diffusion of asbestos fibers．In this paper, paticulaly，we evaluated removal perfomance by testing paint strippers applied on wall surface of a building over 30 years．
