Abstract

In recent years, from the viewpoint of extending the maintenance period of a building, the exterior material is finished with high weather resistance. In the case of metal panel exterior materials, high weather resistance fluororesin coating is often applied, and the useful life of the coating is said to be 15 to 20 years. However, the joint sealant between the metal panels is replaced in a shorter period. As for the sealing material, if the weather resistance equivalent to that of the high weather resistance exterior material can be ensured, the repair can be performed at the same time, so that both the designability and the cost reduction can be achieved. Therefore, as a new high weather resistance fluororesin coating, we have taken up Fluororesin Coatting using micro wrinkle structure, which is excellent in design, and are considering applying a high weather resistance sealing material. In this report, tensile adhesion test and accelerated fatigue test after accelerated exposure were carried out for the purpose of evaluating the adhesion durability of high weather resistance coating and various sealing materials.
