Abstract

Management Actions of Family centered Rice Farming Entities in Response to Structural Changes in Paddy Farming. Using a case study of large-scale rice farming in Chiba Prefecture, we organized and analyzed managers’ choices and specific responses, and clarified how large-scale rice farming has evolved in response to policy and structural changes. Furthermore, we focused on the succession of management as a family business and issues impeding its development.
