Abstract
This article first presents the introduction of LIFE which existed between 1989 and 1995 and was active as a leading international research institution. Then some selected researchers, who joined into various projects conducted by the institute, and the leading adviser, Prof. Michio Sugeno, discuss about the legacy of LIFE from the viewpoints of prospective intelligent informatics and systems. This event will be managed as a panel discussion where many young researchers shall be welcomed as the audiences.
