A study of relation between eye movements and degrees of hesitation in preference decisions based on pairwise comparisons

Abstract

It was reported that when subjects hesitated over choosing attractive one of a pair of stimuli, significant changes of their eye movements appeared. This paper, examining features of eye movements in such a situation by experiments, develops a model that infers degrees of hesitation from important movement parameters.
