Abstract
This article addresses the issues about the possibility of soft intelligent systems to make them human friendly by capturing and understanding "vagueness" underlying in mental processes for individual or interpersonal behavior. The focus is applied to preference, life behavior, and opinion transformation etc., and they are approached from the aspects of cognition, modality, resemblance, concept, Kansei and evaluation by taking account of underlying "vagueness" in inner processes. Then they are referred to the possibility of intelligent systems to make friendly for effective human judgments and behavior supports.
