Abstract
Many injured patients become to be waiting the efficient rescue operations in a small area when a large-scale disaster occurs. Therefore, the medical resources are limited in the early stages of a disaster and some patients cannot be treated by the medical personnel. In such cases, the medical personnel carry on the triage that is a process of prioritizing patients based on the severity of their physical condition. However, the specific countermeasures are not described in almost all the manual for the triage because there are many types of disasters, and the appropriate countermeasures are left to the judgment of the medical personnel in the disaster scene. As a pre-training to carry on the efficient rescue operations, the triage trainings on the desk have been practiced. However, these trainings require a lot of time and money. In this paper, we propose the multi-agent simulation system for supporting efficient rescue operations in disaster. This system enables us to simulate different situations of rescue operations, and can be used for disaster countermeasures. We implemented some case studies after verifying the reproducibility of this system by applying for an actual disaster.
