Abstract
The interpersonal communication skills should be important for people engaged in rehabilitation such as physical therapists and occupational therapists. Some researches on the interpersonal communication skills between physical therapists, occupational therapists and their clients have been done. However, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and students are evaluating the appropriateness of the interpersonal communication skills in many of these researches. In researches concerning interpersonal communication skills between therapists and their clients, it seems that it is preferable that clients evaluate the desirability of the interpersonal communication skills in the rehabilitation scene. As a first step of such researches, the purpose of this study was to collect items concerning the interpersonal communication skills to clients in the rehabilitation scene, and to have examined the validity of each item.
