Abstract
This paper proposes a modification method in the musical expression generation system reflecting user's image. The system generates a musical expression reflecting a user's image represented by an adjective, i.e., an image word. An image word is interpreted in various ways. So, the system modifies the musical expression by interaction with a user, and generates target musical expression. In the proposed method, a modification word, consisting of an adverb and an image word such as "more bright", is inputted by a user, and the musical expression is modified by changing coordinate values on a Kansei space based on an inputted modification word. The change of the coordinate values is obtained based on the results of preliminary experiments and the interaction with a user. This paper also describes subject experiments to verify the validity of modification method and experiments results.
