3-D Shape Recovery method considering Point Light Source Illumination and Perspective Projection

Abstract

Medicine is an important area of application of computer vision technology and endscope image is one of them. A common assumption in this field is that image projection is orthgraphic and parallel light source illmination. In this paper, 3D shape recovery from a single image is attempted under point light source illumination and perspective projection. We propose a new approach by the two method, image irradiance equation and geometric condition equation.
