Abstract
This paper describes a pre-experiment to get knowledge of fashion coordinates from the viewpoint of impressions of clothes combination. Through the pre-experiment, two impression factors are extracted and an impression space consisting of two factors is constructed. Furthermore, in the pre-experiment subjects evaluate various combinations of outer top clothes and inner top clothes giving one of the following four impressions: same impressions, similar impressions, half-opposite impressions and opposite impressions. This paper discusses the results of the pre-experiment. This paper also describes an experiment in which subjects evaluate fashion coordinates that are generated based on the pre-experiment results and subject's impression of desired clothes coordinates.
