Abstract
We propose an emoticons recommendation system using similarity ratio of emoticon's appearance for selection support of emoticons. Recently,we have a lot of opportunities to use emoticons increas in text communication using each electronic device. Emoticons are useful to express the emotion or motion beyond text. However, many users feel difficult to choose an appropriate emoticon from lots of similar candidates. A previous emoticons recommendation system is well known to recommend emoticons that a user has used before and divided a several emotions. Therefore, we proposed system recommend similarity emoticons based on selected ones. Hence, users can use several kinds of emoticon. The experimental results showed that users can choose accepted emoticons. Moreover, this system help users to choose the right emoticons.
