Abstract
This paper presents sum of squares (SOS) based robust fuzzy control for nonlinear polynomial fuzzy systems with polynomial model parameter uncertainties. We derive non-convex SOS design conditions with respect to a Lyapunov function and feedback gains. The so-called path-following method is employed to solve the non-convex SOS design conditions efficiently. We provide a design example that demonstrates the validity of the SOS based robust control results in comparison with the existing results based on stabilizing (non-robust) SOS control results.
