Abstract
As we all know, Chinese market is an integral part to the world, so international automobile companies are making efforts to gain access to Chinese market. To expand the market share in china, companies implement various strategies, as a result, making the market competition fiercer. As Chinese automobile companies are not well-known in the world, we consider BYD —— the representative of Chinese automobile companies. Firstly, we will summarize the history and outline of the company. Then, we will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the company internal environment by using fuzzy VRIO (stand for value, rarity, inimitability and organization) analysis method. Applying fuzzy theory in the analysis of management environment, for instance, VRIO analysis method can make it more effective to formulate strategies. We hope that application of fuzzy theory to management methods might make a contribution to the development of Chinese automobile business in the future.
